About Brenda Swiney:

I support small and growing companies on a limited or part-time basis as a CFO/COO, especially those in the manufacturing, SAAS, and/or payments spaces. My background has a foundation consisting of years of experience in manufacturing companies and then the SAAS industry, which has its own business model complexities and challenges. In my recent role as CFO of a payment processor and money transmitter, I am attuned to the nuances of each business from three different angles – AML/BSA compliance, regulatory, and financial.

I assist with all financial and administrative areas, such as contract review/negotiation, venture equity/debt, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, and risk management, in addition to implementation and oversight of financial reporting/analysis and operating systems and processes (including those unique to FinTech companies).  Companies I have been involved with range from seed-funded companies with five employees to established multi-nationals with hundreds of thousands employees worldwide.  This wide breath of experience enables me to have a unique perspective of the life stages of a company and creativity when thinking about the requirements of each stage.
