Overview of Our Mastermind Options

Joining a Mastermind Group might be the smartest, most effective step you take in your business. Who doesn’t want a personal board of directors? Or a group of colleagues with your best interest in mind? Or someone to hold you accountable to the commitments you make to your business? Or an experienced executive coach and peer group to help you finally reach that level of business success you’ve been striving towards? Smart. Inspiring. Practical. Transformational.

Women In Consulting offer four different types of Masterminds, each designed to help you reach a different type of goal.

Accountability Teams – Get things done

You’re ready to launch a new initiative, write a book, set up a series of workshops, or move forward with some other new project. Join this team to keep yourself on track and accomplish that next big task.

Accountability Teams meet for 6-week sprints. A facilitator helps hold yourself accountable to your own deadlines.

Ideal candidates for Accountability Teams:

Are busy
Need to get a specific project done in a defined timeframe
Want to be held accountable to help with their own forward momentum
Can step up to set goals and tasks and appreciate questions about achieving those goals
Enjoy getting to know others doing the same thing

Meetings are every week for 6 weeks. You can re-register for as many 6-week sessions as you need to keep yourself in gear.

Member Mentoring Collaboration – Problem solving

You occasionally have challenges, situations, or decisions that you could use some expert advice or ideas to help you move forward. This collaboration offers the opportunity to both get that and give it.

The collaboration meetings combine:

Networking and community connection.
Facilitated discussion on trends or complex challenges we all have at this level of consulting.
Tactical issues you just need some more ideas or resources to handle.

An extension of the generous advice, referrals, resources, and insights that the Women In Consulting Community Listserve offers, this is one of the included benefits of the Premier and Executive Membership levels.

Meetings are quarterly and ongoing on a drop-in basis.

Peer Board of Directors – Expand your business success

You’ve got your business going fairly well and you’d like to accelerate your success. You appreciate building community with other experts, trading advice, and helping others flourish.

Ideal candidates for the Peer Board of Directors:

Want to boost their business impact and results

Exponential Growth Circle – Transform yourself and your business

You have a need, desire, and passion for what you want in your business and your life. Maybe you feel like something’s missing even with the success you have. Or maybe you have a dream that you’re not sure how to realize. Maybe you’re in the throes of figuring out the legacy you’ll leave.

Ideal candidates for the Exponential Growth Circle have:

Desire for exponential growth;
Willingness to put in the time and effort to get there;
Passion for what they want in their business and their life;
Vision to invest in themselves.

You’ll have the guidance of an experienced executive coach coupled with the wisdom of a select group like-minded, accomplished peers designed to help break through internal barriers to achieve success on your terms.

Meetings are every two weeks for two hours as a group with the executive coach facilitating. Alternate weeks are 1:1 buddy coaching with different group members. Circles are for six months.

More About Our Masterminds…

You are not going to develop all the skills you need to run a successful business by sitting at your desk brainstorming (by yourself?!? What?) or by reading the top business books. You just don’t have that kind of time. Why not learn from others who have already been through the pain and agony of building a business or from those who are in the painful-but-exciting throes of the building process, just as you are.

A Mastermind group is a small group of peers with similar interests and goals who meet on a regular basis through video conferencing or face-to-face meetings. Participants identify, discuss and solve issues that are occurring in the operation of their businesses. Sometimes the group has a regular facilitator and sometimes facilitation is rotated.

Bringing together small groups of like-minded people, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, freelancers, bloggers and business owners for discussion and support helps each member overcome problems and obstacles, allowing for faster and more effective growth of her business as well as receive encouragement to reach higher and achieve more.

Napoleon Hill, in his classic book Think and Grow Rich, introduced the term “master mind”:

No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind, or the master mind.
