About the Presenter

Delbar Jahanian, CFMC, is a local financial advisor, who has been with Waddell & Reed for over 14 years. Delbar works with clients to guide them toward a successful retirement without worrying about running out of money. She analyzes social security, insurance and retirement accounts, all financial aspects that impact a successful retirement, and then she creates a personalized financial plan. Delbar immigrated to the US as a child from Iran, was raised in a bilingual international family, and became a financial advisor after seeing her best friend struggle when suddenly widowed. Delbar is the financial guide for people approaching retirement and wanting to better deal with their money and finances. Delbar lives in San Jose with her husband of 36 years, and is the proud mother of two adult sons and a lovely year and a half old granddaughter.
