Jean Lombard joins the board in a newly created position focused on WIC’s online marketing endeavors. In her board role, she oversees WIC’s online marketing efforts, including the WIC blog and website, and the organization’s Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn presence.
Jean operates The Jean Effect, a PR and marketing communications consultancy that moves forward client business objectives, such as brand enhancement, sales growth, and competitor displacement, by delivering targeted, timely, and impactful media coverage and influencer mindshare. Clients range from first-round, VC-funded Bay Area emerging technology companies to publicly traded entities. Typical engagements include:
- Developing and implementing PR programs to gain coverage in national and business media
- Writing press releases and pitch letters
- Developing media lists
- Conducting phone outreach
- Providing social media support
