Sandra Clark, Programs Director

Sandra Clark is the Principal of Silicon Valley Training Connect – a training company offering on-site, customized training in leadership, project management and technology to Silicon Valley companies. Sandra is also the Director of Education for Skills4Admins, a division of THiNKAha, a new webinar training and mentoring program for administrative assistants. Previously Sandra was the Director of Corporate Training and, later, Director of Communications at UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley, where she built Extension’s reputation as a training provider of choice for the professional community in Silicon Valley.

Sandra initiated the first social media marketing efforts at UCSC Extension, creating the first ever University Extension blog with contributions from over 50 different bloggers. She set up a variety of social media tools, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to help build an educational social community for UCSC Extension. More recently she has taught classes and done one-on-one coaching in using social media to help in people’s job search efforts.

Sandra loves working at the intersection of business and education. She has an extensive background in education, including experience at UC Berkeley Extension where she created their on-site Engineering training services. She was a teacher for many years and has taught internationally. Her degrees include a teaching credential from the University of Exeter, a Bachelor of Arts from Chico State, and a Master’s from California State University at Fresno.
