Joanna Nowak, Vice President Finance/Treasurer

Joanna Nowak is a principal and founder of MoneyWise Financial Advisors specializing in financial planning and investment advice for women, their families and businesses. Joanna helps her clients define their true goals and priorities in life and develops custom financial plans to meet those goals. She manages investments in an objective and disciplined way, and takes guesswork and worry out of money matters so that her clients are free to pursue the things in life they value most.

As a fee-only financial planner, Joanna doesn’t accept commissions or loads, thus is under no pressure to sell or recommend any particular financial products. Her clients can be assured of unbiased advice that is in their best interest.

Financial planning is a second career for Joanna. Before becoming a financial planner, she worked in the field of management consulting, management training, marketing and advertising. She founded her business on principles of excellence in customer service that she had learned while working at the Tom Peter’s Group.

Joanna is a member of the Financial Planning Association, actively serving on Programs Committee. Over the years she has been involved in a number of non-profit organizations, and causes that focus on women’s financial literacy are closest to her heart.

Joanna holds an MBA and Bachelor's Degree in Business and from Santa Clara University. She is a Registered Investment Advisor with the State of California and holds Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law License.
