San Jose, CA – June 22, 2009 – Women in Consulting (WIC), a collaborative community of professional consultants and small business owners, today announced results from its eighth annual compensation survey. Responses from 274 consultants nationwide indicate they are taking measures to successfully weather the economic downturn.

Women in Consulting Names 2009 Board of Directors

San Jose, CA – March 9, 2009—Women in Consulting (WIC), a collaborative community of professional consultants and small business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area, today announced that WIC President Linda Popky has been named one of Silicon Valley’s “Top 100 Women of Influence” by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Winners were featured in a special supplement in the March 6 issue of the publication, and the private awards ceremony and dinner will be held at the San Jose Fairmont on March 18.

Women in Consulting (WIC) President Offers Nonprofit Marketing Seminar
San Jose, CA -- February 9, 2009 -- Women in Consulting (WIC), a collaborative community of professional consultants and small business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area, today announced WIC president Linda Popky will present a pro-bono seminar in support of the American Enterprise class project at Homestead High School. The nonprofit marketing seminar, Promoting Your Non-Profit: How Marketing Can Help You Succeed in Today’s Economy, will be held in conjunction with KeyPoint Credit Union from 6 – 8:30 pm on February 25th at KeyPoint’s Sunnyvale, CA headquarters.
