Women in Consulting Previews Full Slate of Events

Leading Up to 10th Anniversary Event


San Mateo, CA – June 9, 2008 –Women in Consulting (WIC), a San Francisco Bay Area-based organization of seasoned professional consultants, today announced an advance look at the summer and fall events leading up to the nonprofit’s 10th Anniversary celebration as the premier networking organization for consultants in the Bay Area.

Scheduled for October 16, 2008, the Anniversary event will recognize WIC's founders and the contributions its members have made to the consulting field throughout the past decade. Kim Fulcher, president and CEO of Compass Life and Business Designs (www.kimberlyfulcher.com), will be the event's featured guest speaker. The event will also feature a silent auction, with a portion of proceeds to be donated to Girls for a Change (www.girlsforachange.org), a national organization empowering thousands of teen girls to create and lead social change.

  • September 3: "Do You Have a Web 2.0 Strategy?" presented by Robin Stavisky
  • September 18, Menlo Park, CA: "The Story Behind Storytelling: The Inside Secrets of How Consultants Can Better Connect with Customers and Prospects," presented by award-winning speaker and executive speech coach Patricia Fripp (www.fripp.com)
