Erna Arnesen has more than 25 years experience in channel, sales, and alliance management at Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller, publicly traded, entrepreneurial technology companies. She is currently Vice President of Global SMB, Industry & Partner Marketing at Symantec. Prior to Symantec, she was vice president of worldwide channels for Fujitsu Softek, with responsibility for global channel strategy and programs, and all North American sales and services, for the storage management software company As vice president, global channels at SGI, Arnesen managed and implemented a global network of channel partners, which grew to represent the majority of the company's revenue. Arnesen holds a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Susan Burnett is senior vice president, talent attraction & development at Gap, Inc. where she leads the strategic planning and execution of all staffing, learning and organization development activities company wide. Previous to the Gap, Ms. Burnett spent 22 years at Hewlett Packard where, she served as chief learning officer, vice president and director of workforce development and organization effectiveness. She has also held line positions in marketing, where she managed a variety of marketing services and sales support functions. Ms Burnett holds a BA from Simmons College and an MA from Columbia University. She was an elected member to the ASTD Board of Directors from 1997-1999 and served as Chair in 2001.

Mark Cannice is associate professor of entrepreneurship and the director and founder of the Entrepreneurship Program at the University of San Francisco School of Business and Management. He works closely with the Bay Area venture capital and entrepreneur community, and also directs the USF International Business Plan Competition, which receives applications from dozens of graduate student entrepreneur teams from universities around the world. His primary research area is the management of technology, in which he has published extensively in leading academic journals. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from Indiana University, an MBA from USF, and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is also a Commander (O-5) in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

Patricia Franklin founded Atlas Island Media in 1997 to lead a team of psychologists, instructional designers and game developers in the build of online learning that integrates simulation, mentoring and collaboration. Her leadership of Atlas Island is based on over 20 years of success in the corporate-based training, multimedia, game development, television and publishing industries. She is an internationally published author, a graduate of the University of Southern California, a Rotary International Foundation Scholar of The London School of Economics and has written for Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, and The Economist. Her broadcasts for the BBC, Channel Four (London) and International Video Network have captured 100M-viewer audiences worldwide.

Kathleen Gogan is a Partner at Topline Strategy Consulting. She was formerly
vice president, marketing of Responsys, a hosted, integrated e-marketing
company providing a suite of analytic and e-mail campaign applications. With
more than 20 years of technology marketing experience, she oversees all
marketing activities, including product marketing, marketing communications,
public relations, and strategic customer and partner initiatives to support
the Responsys sales team. Prior to joining Responsys, Ms. Gogan was vice
president of marketing at Eloquent, Inc., a leading provider of sales
effectiveness solutions, at Docent, an e-learning infrastructure company;
and at Decisive Technology. She holds a bachelor's of science degree from
Notre Dame University and a Masters of Management from the J.L. Kellogg
Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Denise Peck is vice president, marketing operations at Cisco Systems, Inc., where she is responsible for driving marketing excellence through processes, systems, and teamwork. During her five years at Cisco, she has held executive positions in marketing, engineering services, and information technology. Prior to joining Cisco, Ms. Peck held several senior marketing management positions over 13 years at Sun Microsystems spanning investor relations, third party developer programs and hardware and software marketing, including the launch of Sun Solaris and Sun Press. She holds a B.A. in Economics from U.C. Berkeley, and an MBA from Stanford University. She was a past TWIN award winner presented by Women in Industry.

Kate Purmal Kate Purmal is the CEO of U3. has more than 20 years of computer industry
experience as an entrepreneur, corporate executive and independent
consultant. Prior to U3, her successful management consulting business
landed her in roles at Adobe, CBS MarketWatch, Hewlett-Packard, Intuit, Palm
and Handspring, and dozens of start-ups. Kate was a founding member of
palmOne (formerly Palm Computing), where she built and ran the product
marketing and strategic alliance organizations. She helped palmOne launch
its platform and successful developer community which now boasts hundreds of
thousands of developers. In addition, Kate has held senior roles in
marketing, product marketing, business development, sales, and engineering
at Interleaf, Grid Systems, and Computer Associates. Kate holds a bachelor's
degree in applied mathematics from the University of California in San
Diego.
